Former Minister and Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy strongly criticized the Congress government, stating that the current drought in Telangana is due to the government's failures. He accused the government of mismanaging available power and water resources.

Jagadish Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues are squandering electricity for scams. He also claimed that water resources were diverted to Andhra Pradesh for personal reasons.

Challenging Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Jagadish Reddy stated that if the Congress government is unable to govern, they should step down. He asserted that if his party is given power, they would demonstrate how to provide water and electricity.

Jagadish Reddy recalled that Revanth Reddy's mentors had previously predicted that Telangana would face darkness and water scarcity. He highlighted that KCR's administration had disproved these claims by ensuring sufficient water and power.

However, Jagadish Reddy claimed that within three years of its rule, the Revanth Reddy government is fulfilling the predictions of his mentors. He reiterated that Revanth Reddy is mismanaging the available power and water.

Jagadish Reddy emphasized that the current drought is not a natural calamity but a direct consequence of the Congress government's inefficiency.
