Telugu expatriates in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, celebrated the Bathukamma festival with great enthusiasm on October 17. A large number of Telugu women participated in the grand event.

The festival provided a welcome break for women who are constantly engaged in household chores and family responsibilities. Everyone gathered to share traditional and spiritual joy.

The celebrations were lively with Bathukamma Uyyalo songs and folk dances performed by women. The festival, adorned with yellow and fragrant flowers, and wild flower Bathukamma, was a feast for the eyes on the Red Sea coast.

The Telugu expatriate community in Jeddah reflected the collective beauty of life through these celebrations. Such events help keep Telugu culture and traditions alive even abroad.

Irfan, a Gulf representative, participated in the festivities. He said such programs help strengthen cultural ties among expatriates.
