A farmer from Karimnagar, Bala Narayana, expressed his regret on Friday during a live debate, stating that farmers now feel they made a mistake by voting for the Congress party in Telangana.
He criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's government for failing to provide irrigation water and electricity. Narayana alleged that the government is blaming El Nino for drought conditions to cover up its own inefficiencies.
Narayana highlighted that the previous government supported them even during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the current administration has failed to assist farmers during the drought.
He conveyed that the farming community in Telangana is deeply angered by the Congress government's approach. Narayana added that every farming family is now reconsidering their decision.
He publicly appealed for KCR to forgive everyone for voting for Congress, acknowledging it as a mistake.
