GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan directed election officials to inspect polling stations for the upcoming Mahabubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad Graduates’ Constituency elections. He emphasized a thorough verification of all polling locations.

Karnan instructed Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) to conduct a full physical verification. This check aims to identify polling stations situated in demolished buildings or structures now used for residential purposes.

During a meeting with AEROs on Saturday, October 17, Commissioner Karnan reviewed the preparations for the graduates’ constituency elections. He asked officials to prepare proposals for rationalizing the polling stations based on their findings.

A total of 656 polling stations have been provisionally identified across nine districts. These districts include Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Narayanpet, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Hyderabad.

The physical inspection will assist officials in confirming existing polling locations and developing proposals for any necessary adjustments. This process supports the smooth conduct of the elections.
