The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has reportedly cancelled the flyover projects planned around KBR Park in Hyderabad, according to tv9telugu.com. A new plan has been proposed in place of these projects.

GHMC decided that the expenditure of crores of rupees is not necessary as traffic is currently flowing smoothly, tv9telugu.com stated. The alignment has been changed accordingly.

Instead of the cancelled projects, GHMC has proposed to construct a six-lane flyover and an underpass from Punjagutta to Jubilee Hills, tv9telugu.com reported.

As part of this new plan, alternative routes are being explored to address traffic issues in the area surrounding KBR Park.

This decision indicates a strategic shift in GHMC's approach to traffic management in Hyderabad city.

These changes are expected to help reduce traffic congestion and save commuting time for residents in Hyderabad and Telangana.
