Kollu Ravindra, the local MLA and former minister, expressed strong displeasure over the delays in the Bandar Fishing Harbour works in Machilipatnam. He visited the harbour on Thursday midnight to inspect the ongoing works.
According to Andhrajyothy, Kollu Ravindra stated that there have been significant delays in completing the works, and despite repeated warnings to the contractor, no progress has been made.
He made it clear that the works must be completed immediately, failing which the contract would be cancelled and new tenders would be called.
This project is crucial for the fishermen in the Machilipatnam region. Its completion would significantly benefit their livelihoods.
