BRS Working President KTR strongly condemned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's remarks concerning his hotels. He clarified that he started his hotels with money earned through hard work in America.
Speaking at a meeting held at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday, where Armoor constituency leaders joined the party, KTR questioned CM Revanth Reddy, asking what was wrong with doing business to provide for his family, and advised him to stop mudslinging.
According to v6velugu.com, KTR stated that he opened one hotel in 2006 when YSR was CM, and in 20 years, it grew to three hotels. He also mentioned that if he hadn't entered politics, those three hotels would have become ten.
V6velugu.com reported that KTR revealed these asset details were present in his 2009 election affidavit. He also questioned Revanth about the findings in the Formula E race case.
KTR asserted that his family has been landlords for generations. He challenged Revanth to an inquiry into their respective assets by a Supreme Court judge.
These statements intensify the debate over asset controversies in Telangana politics, drawing public attention to the financial affairs of chief ministers and former ministers.
