BRS Working President KTR launched a scathing attack on the Congress government regarding its administration of Singareni. He alleged that a "kumbh mela" of scams is taking place in the state during the three years of Congress rule. These remarks were made at the 'Singareni Karmika Garjana' meeting in Godavarikhani.
KTR specifically mentioned several alleged scams in Singareni, including the site visit scam, diesel scam, gelatin sticks scam, solar scam, and Jaipur power scam. He criticized the extensive list of scams, stating it was so long that even Chitragupta's ledger would not suffice.
The BRS leader further alleged that 10,000 crore rupees have been plundered from the Singareni company within three years. He accused both Congress and BJP of conspiring to privatize Singareni, claiming they would sell it off to either Adani or Ambani.
KTR questioned why BJP leaders remained silent on the Singareni scams. He recalled that the coal belt region had revolted with guns in the past, unable to tolerate the atrocities committed by the Congress party.
KTR stated that when KCR raised the flag for a separate state, the Singareni region stood by him. He noted that Singareni workers have risen against the Congress, which had promised to secure their labor rights but allegedly betrayed them.
