A major scam has surfaced within the Labor Department. Allegations are being made regarding the involvement of Minister Vivek and Labor Welfare Board CEO Gangadhar in these irregularities.
Mancherial, Minister Vivek's home district, and the adjacent Peddapalli district are said to be the primary hubs for this illicit activity. An extensive network of agents has spread across villages in these areas.
When a laborer dies, agents immediately arrive at the location. They are creating fraudulent documents and submitting applications claiming accidental death to secure benefits.
Sources within the Tanguturi Anjaiah Labor Welfare Building stated that recommendation letters from the Minister serve as eligibility documents. They also mentioned that the online portal's password is granted with a nod from the Board CEO.
Even without proper documentation from the victims, or if only blank papers are attached, claims are cleared within minutes if accompanied by a letter from the Minister. This issue is causing considerable discussion within the Labor Department.
Further details regarding this alleged scam will be revealed by October 17, 2026. The next steps in addressing these irregularities are awaited.
