Mahesh Bigala, Coordinator of the BRS Global NRI wing, has expressed strong disapproval of a news report published in a daily newspaper. He stated that the article was designed to undermine the reputation of former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief KCR.
Bigala refuted the allegations that the Kondapochamma irrigation project was diverted to KCR's personal farmhouse. He emphasized that linking irrigation projects with an individual's agricultural land is inappropriate.
Mahesh Bigala clarified that it is not justifiable to create sensational headlines without providing evidence, thereby misleading the public. He demanded that newspapers have a responsibility to present official evidence to the public.
As requested by the BRS Legal Cell, Bigala called for the immediate retraction of the controversial article. He also demanded an unconditional apology within 24 hours.
Bigala insisted that the apology must be prominently published on the newspaper's front page and across its digital platforms. He warned of further action if these demands are not met.
