Tahsildar Satish Kumar on Saturday afternoon inspected various sites for the construction of four Anganwadi centers and two health centers in Makthal Municipality. According to dishadaily.com, these constructions are planned for various wards within the municipality.
Funds have been sanctioned for the construction of permanent buildings for Anganwadi and health centers within Makthal Municipality. Following the instructions of Minister Vakiti Srihari, Tahsildar Satish Kumar inspected the sites and prepared a report with measurements for the required land.
Dishadaily.com reported that as the municipality expands and develops, the need for land for government office buildings has increased.
Dishadaily.com stated that a large amount of Shikam land and Gairan land in Makthal Municipality has been encroached upon and structures built on it.
The Tahsildar mentioned that this issue recently came to his attention and that the local Municipal Commissioner needs to take action on it. He suggested that if local municipal councilors bring this matter to the Commissioner's attention, the time spent searching for land for building constructions would be reduced.
These efforts will contribute to providing better health and childcare services to the public in Makthal Municipality, serving as a model for other developing municipalities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
