Minister Narayana visited Ponnuru Municipality in Guntur district on Friday, October 2, 2026. During his visit, he laid the foundation for several development works worth Rs 32.10 crore, as reported by Andhrajyothy.
In this context, Minister Narayana, along with MLA Dhulipala Narendra, initiated various development programs within the municipal limits. These works are expected to bring improved infrastructure to the local residents.
To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, Minister Narayana and the MLA garlanded the statue of Gandhiji in Ponnuru and paid their respects. They remembered Gandhiji's ideals on this occasion.
Subsequently, Minister Narayana also participated in a tree-planting program. This initiative was undertaken to emphasize environmental protection.
These development works will help improve the infrastructure in Ponnuru Municipality, Guntur district. This serves as a model for other municipalities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
