Jadcherla Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy has made it clear that he will not compromise on water allocations for the Palamuru region. He stated that while he would give his life for his political mentor, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, he would not back down on water rights.
Speaking at a press conference held at his camp office in Jadcherla, Anirudh Reddy emphasized that the interests of his region are paramount. He declared his readiness to fight anyone for these interests.
Anirudh Reddy addressed the ongoing dispute concerning water allocations between the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme and the Dindi Lift Irrigation Scheme. He articulated his firm position on the matter.
The MLA stated unequivocally that they would not accept any proposal to divert water from the Yedula Reservoir to the Dindi Project. He indicated that their opposition to this decision would continue.
