Tensions have escalated in Pulivendula, Kadapa district, as municipal election nominations are underway. Police placed MP YS Avinash Reddy under house arrest on October 18, 2026.
A large contingent of police personnel has been deployed in front of MP Avinash Reddy's residence in Bhakarapuram, Pulivendula. Iron barricades were also erected around his house.
