Bhongir Congress MP Kiran Kumar Chamala addressed the media at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday, October 17. He stated that allegations made by RVM Constructions regarding tender allotments and payment delays are baseless.

The MP clarified that nearly 80 percent of the bills submitted by RVM Constructions to the present government have been paid. He claimed the firm is attempting to discredit the government despite receiving its dues.

Kiran Kumar Chamala detailed that RVM Constructions has undertaken projects valued at Rs 77.08 crore in Telangana since 2017. Since the Congress government assumed power, the company has secured only two new projects.

These projects include a degree college worth Rs 8.5 crore and a municipal building in Andole-Jogipet. For these two works, the company submitted bills totaling Rs 25.1 crore to the present government.

Out of the total submitted amount, Rs 20.15 crore has already been disbursed, leaving Rs 4.95 crore pending, the MP explained. He also alleged that Nama Ramesh, the owner of RVM Constructions, has ties to a former Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MP.
