MP Gurumoorthy has alleged that Telugu Desam Party activists seized his nomination proposer documents during the nomination process. He stated that this incident occurred while police personnel were present.

According to the MP, he attended the nomination process as a proposer when a local Deputy Superintendent of Police stopped him and asked to examine his documents.
As Gurumoorthy presented the documents, TDP activists snatched them from his grasp and fled. He further alleged that the police personnel at the location did not intervene to stop the incident.
These allegations have raised concerns regarding the security arrangements during the nomination filing process. The MP has called for further action to be taken in response to these events.
