Namasthe Telangana has published a report criticizing the statements made by Deputy CM and Electricity Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on October 7, where he claimed there are no power cuts in Telangana and that continuous power supply is being maintained despite record demand.
According to Namasthe Telangana, the Minister stated that the claim of not even 8 to 9 hours of electricity for agriculture is false. However, the newspaper asserted that this statement indicates the Congress government is acting with an attitude of 'let them laugh, what do I care about shame'.
As per the Namasthe Telangana report, farmers are expressing distress, stating that they have to spend Rs. 2,000 per day to irrigate their fields. Namasthe Telangana further claimed that the Congress government, which ended 24-hour power supply, is now providing electricity for only 4 hours.
This situation is imposing a severe burden on farmers. Due to power cuts, they are forced to bear additional costs to irrigate their crops.
These power cuts are causing significant difficulties for the people in Telangana who depend on the agricultural sector. The lack of adequate power supply for crop cultivation is leading to reduced yields and financial losses.
