Nellore District SP Dr. Ajitha Vejendla reviewed security arrangements for the urban local body elections. She visited several nomination centers and key locations related to election management in Nellore city.
Nominations are being accepted from October 16 to 18. The SP directed police officers and staff to work in coordination to ensure the election process is peaceful, free, and transparent.
Dr. Vejendla personally inspected the security arrangements at the nomination centers. She advised taking stringent measures to prevent any untoward incidents.
The SP also visited the election distribution center, strong room, and counting center set up at DKW College. She emphasized the need for vigilance until the election results are declared.
