The Revanth government has introduced new regulations and charges for advertisement boards in Hyderabad. According to Namasthe Telangana, this move will impose a tax burden on Hyderabad residents, including charges for missing advertisements, tournaments, and social programs.
These new regulations apply to advertisement boards within the Qure jurisdiction. Namasthe Telangana states that the charges will vary depending on the area.
A daily fee ranging from 100 to 500 will be collected. Significant penalties will be imposed for advertisement boards installed without permission.
Namasthe Telangana reported that the Revanth government is taking measures to burden the public with taxes and fees, rather than focusing on welfare in the state.
These new regulations are set to come into effect from October 7, 2026. This will have a significant financial impact on businesses and organizations in Hyderabad.
Given that the people of Telangana are already grappling with various taxes and fees, these new charges will place an additional burden on them.
