Contract and outsourcing employees working under the National Health Mission (NHM) in the Kamareddy district medical and health department continued their indefinite strike for the sixth consecutive day. On Sunday, the employees held a silent protest at the municipal office premises.
The protest was organized under the aegis of the NHM JAC. Employees wore black ribbons over their mouths to express their dissent.
The strike commenced on October 18, 2026. The employees are striving to bring their demands to the attention of the government.
The agitation is ongoing at the district medical and health department office. The employees are urging for the resolution of their issues.
