NRI BRS UK senior leader Ramesh Isampally condemned the alleged harassment of BRS leader Manne Krishank through illegal cases. He made these remarks in London on October 6, 2026.

Isampally strongly criticized the Telangana government's actions, stating that they are politically persecuting Krishank by filing false cases. He emphasized that every citizen has the right to question the government in a democracy.

Using power to suppress the voices of opposition leaders is completely against the spirit of democracy, he added. Namasthe Telangana reported that these actions undermine democratic values in Telangana.

Ramesh Isampally stated that targeting political opponents with cases and harassing them under the guise of investigations is unacceptable.

He criticized the government's attempts to suppress Manne Krishank, who continuously fights for public issues, through cases and harassment, calling it a sign of the government's intolerance.

If such actions against opposition leaders continue in Telangana, concerns are being raised that it could hinder the democratic process in the state and infringe upon citizens' rights.
