Housing and Information and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy announced that proposals for development works worth Rs 155 crore have been submitted to the government. The aim is to transform Nuzvid into a model municipality, he stated during a bike rally in Nuzvid on Sunday.

The Minister participated in the rally on the final day of nominations for the municipal elections. He noted that development works valued at Rs 88.46 crore are already underway, with some projects having reached completion.

Parthasarathy mentioned that the Nuzvid municipality has a population of approximately 42,000 residents. These development initiatives are expected to benefit the local community.

The Minister led the bike rally from his camp office to the municipal office. A large number of party cadres and alliance candidates joined him in the procession.

The rally was held to support alliance candidates, including chairperson nominee Barre Ilayaraja, who filed his nomination on Sunday. The event featured drums, DJ music, traditional performances, fireworks, and yellow flags.

Minister Parthasarathy urged alliance candidates to intensify their door-to-door campaigning. He asked them to explain the government’s development initiatives to the public.
