The All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA) on Friday wrote to President Droupadi Murmu. They sought her intervention to ensure that OBC enumeration and caste codes remain within the constitutional framework.
AIOBCSA national president G. Krishna sent the letter to the President. He emphasized the importance of protecting the rights and representation of OBCs.
The association appealed for the President's intervention to ensure proper representation for OBCs in the caste census process. They stated this supports social justice and equality.
The AIOBCSA requested that OBC enumeration be conducted in accordance with constitutional provisions and that caste codes be clear. This would help prevent any future complications.
