Christian pastors across Andhra Pradesh have not received their monthly honorarium for the past nine months. The AP United Pastors' Fellowship has appealed to the state government to release these pending payments immediately.
Bishop G. Jayaprakash Ganjikunta, who is the Founder and State President of the Fellowship, has urged the government to act swiftly. He emphasized the need to disburse these funds to support religious leaders in the state.
The state government had previously sanctioned ₹50 crore through G.O. RT No. 112, issued on December 23, 2025. This allocation was designated to provide a monthly honorarium of ₹5,000 to 8,427 pastors.
Despite the government order, the honorarium has been outstanding for nine months, as highlighted by Jayaprakash. He has called for the immediate clearance of these arrears.
The Fellowship has requested the government to ensure that the honorarium reaches pastors in all districts of the state without any further delay.
