An international team of experts concluded its four-day inspection of the Polavaram Project construction work in Andhra Pradesh on May 17.
During their visit, which began on May 14, the experts conducted on-site inspections of critical construction activities at the project site.
The team reviewed the progress of key structures, including the Earth Cum Rock Fill (ECRF) dam and the Gap-1 and Gap-2 constructions.
The experts expressed their satisfaction with the quality standards being maintained in the ongoing construction work.
However, they advised officials to accelerate the pace of work, noting the reduced impact of seasonal rains.
