Police in Pulivendula have issued a notice to YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy in light of the upcoming local elections. Pulivendula Town Circle Inspector Purushottam Raju handed over the notice to Reddy at the local YSRCP office on Saturday morning.
Authorities stated that Section 144 and Police Act 30 are currently in force in Pulivendula due to the local elections. The notice clearly stipulates that no rallies, public meetings, or protests should be conducted during this period.
Police have requested Avinash Reddy's cooperation in maintaining law and order within the town. Officials explained that the purpose of issuing these notices is to ensure a peaceful conclusion to the election process.
The police further indicated that these measures are being taken as a precaution to prevent any undesirable incidents from occurring.
