The Dindi Lift Irrigation Scheme's situation has become like a dilemma, where proceeding angers one side and stopping angers the other, as reported by Namasthe Telangana. The future of this project is currently in question.

Ministers and public representatives from Nalgonda district are insisting on the immediate commencement of the project to provide irrigation and drinking water to fluoride-affected areas.

However, public representatives and Congress leaders from the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district are opposing it, stating that implementing the Dindi scheme as part of the Palamuru Lift Scheme would cause them irreparable loss, according to Namasthe Telangana.

As a result of these political disagreements, the project work has not progressed even a single step, Namasthe Telangana reported.

Namasthe Telangana stated that the Chief Minister and leaders from the Palamuru district are obstructing the project.

Since this project is intended to provide irrigation and drinking water to fluoride-affected areas, its delay will significantly impact the residents of these regions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
