Farmers in Vikarabad, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Medak, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Yadadri, Medchal, and Suryapet districts, falling under the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) jurisdiction, lodged complaints regarding power supply issues.

While the program proceeded peacefully in these areas, protests have emerged in several other locations across the state concerning erratic power supply.

Teams visited numerous villages, including Chowderguda, Chittapur, Uyyalavada, Nadaimpally, Nijampur, Choutlapally, Puttapally, Thadur, Jangampet, Gummadidala, Kothapally, and Laxmipathigudem, with a specific focus on dedicated agricultural feeder zones.

Officials evaluated 100 kVA distribution transformers, meticulously measuring voltage and current levels at both the transformers and borewell motor starter points.

The teams also reviewed the overall performance of agricultural feeders, assessed general supply stability, and investigated the root causes behind ongoing power interruptions.

These field visits aim to identify solutions and improve the reliability of power supply for agricultural consumers in the region.
