Lower-level staff at Jagtial District Government Hospital are allegedly colluding with private hospitals to divert patients, according to a report by Eenadu. These actions are causing distrust among patients.
A woman from Sarangapur mandal, suffering from a severe illness, was brought to the district general hospital by her family members in an auto.
As per the Eenadu report, a ward boy and a security guard at the hospital approached the woman's relatives and informed them that her recovery would be difficult with the treatment available there.
Subsequently, they, along with another ambulance driver, transferred the woman to a private hospital.
This incident undermines public trust in government hospitals. People in Telangana may face difficulties in trusting public healthcare services due to such practices.
