Rajanna Sircilla district has secured the first position in the state for creating employment guarantee works, HMTV reported. The district has made significant progress in providing employment opportunities to laborers in rural areas.
The district administration is prioritizing the creation of permanent assets and the conservation of natural resources, in addition to providing employment to workers in rural areas.
State-level officials have commended the progress made in the district regarding the works undertaken, labor attendance, and employment generation.
In light of drought conditions, the state government has directed extensive works to be undertaken under the 'Vikasit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (VBG RAM Ji)' program to increase employment opportunities in rural areas.
By undertaking extensive employment guarantee works under this program, Rajanna Sircilla district will significantly benefit its local population.
