India–Saudi flights will stay grounded for longer as Houthi missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia continue. The Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted 10 ballistic missiles fired toward the south on Sunday (October 25), plus one missile and two drones aimed at Riyadh.

Which flights are off, and until when

  • Air India and Air India Express: Riyadh and Dammam until November 7; Jeddah until October 31.
  • IndiGo: Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah (and Riyadh) until October 31.
  • Akasa Air: Jeddah until November 10; Riyadh until November 30.

What the embassy says

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh asked all Indians, including stranded Umrah pilgrims, to follow local laws. It shared a Saudi Civil Defence warning that filming or sharing interceptions or impact sites can lead to legal action. The Consulate in Jeddah runs 24-hour control rooms in Jeddah and Makkah. Pilgrims with accommodation problems should call the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on 1966, get a case number, and share it with the consulate. The emergency number is 911.
