The nomination process for corporations, municipalities, and gram panchayats in Andhra Pradesh has concluded. With the completion of this process, some municipalities are set to be elected unanimously.
In Prakasam district, Darshi, and in Palnadu district, Piduguralla, YSRCP candidates did not file nominations. These two municipalities are therefore on the list for unanimous elections.
Similarly, Erraguntla and Mydukur municipalities in Kadapa district are also heading towards unanimous elections. No nominations were filed by other parties in these areas.
Rayachoti and Punganur municipalities in Annamayya district have also joined the list for unanimous elections. There will be no contest in these municipalities.
The scrutiny of nominations will begin today, followed by the withdrawal process for nominations.
