Congress leader Srihari held a preparatory meeting to discuss the strategy for the upcoming graduate MLC election. He described the election as an indicator of the party's future political prospects.

Srihari cautioned party workers against assuming victory merely because the Congress is currently in power. He urged them to ensure that every eligible graduate is registered as a voter.

He also emphasized the importance of personally reaching out to voters and explaining the party's policies. Srihari stressed the need for coordination among leaders and cadres at the village, mandal, and town levels.

Every single vote would be important, Srihari stated. He called for a united fight against both the BJP and the BRS parties.

Srihari accused the previous BRS government of neglecting the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. He also criticized the BJP-led government at the Centre for failing to grant national project status to the scheme.

He demanded that both the BJP and BRS explain their positions on regional development and farmers' interests.
