Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has addressed the incident at MVSR Engineering College in Nadargul. He directed officials to ensure the injured students are moved to Yashoda Hospital for better medical treatment.
The unfortunate event took place during Dandiya celebrations held at MVSR Engineering College on Saturday. A large arch, decorated with electric lights, suddenly collapsed.
The collapse resulted in the death of Narayandas Sona (18), a first-year B.Tech student. Additionally, 14 other students sustained injuries in the accident.
Meena, the sister of the student who died, also suffered injuries in the incident. She is currently receiving medical attention.
