The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) Mid-Atlantic chapter successfully conducted a program to distribute bags and other essential items to students at Downey School in Harrisburg. This event took place on October 8, 2026.
According to Andhrajyothy, the TANA Mid-Atlantic chapter regularly organizes programs under the banner of 'Giving Back to the Community' to support local communities.
This year, as part of the 'Giving Back to the Community' initiative, bags and other necessary items were provided to students of Downey School in Harrisburg.
Andhrajyothy reported that TANA is providing essential bags and other items to school children.
The provision of these essential items will further encourage students in their studies and daily school life.
This initiative by the TANA Mid-Atlantic chapter serves as an inspiration for children of families from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, especially those settled in America, demonstrating a commitment to community service.
