The Telangana state cabinet has approved the payment of two Dearness Allowances (DA) to employees, teachers, and pensioners. This decision brings good news to them ahead of the Dasara festival.
According to Andhrajyothy, these DA arrears will be paid along with their salaries. This measure is expected to provide financial relief to government employees, teachers, and pensioners across the state.
The payment of these DAs will place an additional burden of approximately 2,500 crore rupees on the state government. This decision comes amidst drought conditions prevailing in 235 mandals across the state.
Andhrajyothy reported that a cabinet committee meeting will be held soon to consider all aspects of the report and suggestions from the opposition before making a final decision.
These DA payments will provide financial relief to employees, teachers, and pensioners in Telangana state before the Dasara festival. This will enhance their purchasing power and make the festive season more vibrant.
