The Telangana government has issued 12,40,366 pattadar passbooks to farmers over the past 34 months. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced this on Monday.

The minister made the statement during a review meeting with Bhu Bharati and Revenue Department officials at the Secretariat in Hyderabad. He said the government aims to permanently resolve long-pending land disputes.

Of the total, 5,68,858 pattadar passbooks were distributed after the Bhu Bharati Act came into force on April 14, 2025. This highlights the government's commitment to land reforms.

The government is actively restructuring the revenue system to ensure transparency in public services. This initiative seeks to streamline land administration and record-keeping.

The government stated that a lasting solution to land disputes will be achieved. Officials will continue to monitor the progress of these reforms.
