According to a report by Namasthe Telangana, the Telangana government is showing negligence in utilizing its share of Krishna River water. The newspaper stated that Krishna waters have been flowing to Andhra Pradesh for the past three years, indicating Telangana's inability to utilize its allotted share. Namasthe Telangana reported that during KCR's tenure, water utilization was at its maximum, but now, even as Andhra Pradesh uses more than its quota, the Telangana government is merely observing. The newspaper also mentioned that the Congress government had released 200 TMC of water.
