TGS RTC on Sunday dismissed allegations made by former minister Harish Rao concerning the operation of buses during festivals and the implementation of the Mahalakshmi scheme. The corporation issued an official statement clarifying that his remarks are without factual basis.

TGS RTC stated that Harish Rao's claims about increased ticket prices and service cancellations are unfounded. The corporation explained that ticket fares for festival periods are determined strictly according to existing regulations.

The RTC confirmed that fare adjustments are made based on government orders issued in 2003. It emphasized that no extra financial burden has been imposed on the public.

TGS RTC accused Harish Rao of spreading misinformation solely for political gain. The corporation also refuted allegations that bus services were reduced during the Dasara festival.

To facilitate passengers traveling to their hometowns, TGS RTC announced that 7,000 additional buses were arranged this time. The corporation reiterated its commitment to providing improved services to commuters.
