The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to complete the second installment payment of the Thalliki Vandanam scheme before the Dasara festival. This scheme provides financial assistance to mothers of students.
According to Andhrajyothy, 3,29,201 beneficiaries will receive funds this time. This scheme aims to support the education of children by providing financial aid to their mothers.
Andhrajyothy reported that the number of students increased by 58,601 compared to the initial government estimate. This indicates an expansion in the scheme's reach.
An additional burden of Rs. 87.9 crores was incurred for the implementation of this scheme, as reported by Andhrajyothy. This represents an increased financial commitment from the government.
This scheme directly benefits mothers of students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by providing financial support, which in turn aids their children's education.
