Expansion work on National Highway 44 (NH-44) is progressing rapidly. However, villagers in the Alampur mandal are expressing concern over the height of underpass bridges being constructed beneath the highway.
Local residents and farmers are angered that the height of these underpasses, which serve as entry points to villages and mandal centers, is being constructed too low and in violation of established norms.
Residents criticize that the inadequate height of these bridges will severely impede the transportation sector in the future. They state it will hinder connectivity for rural areas.
Strong opposition is emerging from the local populace regarding the current construction methods. They are urging authorities to address this issue promptly.
