The Maritime Invitational 2026, an Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) event at Visakhapatnam's East Point Golf Club, ended on Thursday. It was the first IGPL event at the club. Players played 48 holes over three days for a total purse of ₹1.5 crore.
Bhullar in the playoff
Gaganjeet Bhullar and Sachin Baisoya finished tied at 10 under par, forcing a playoff. Bhullar won it by holing a putt from about 40 feet. It is his third win of the season and his sixth IGPL title.

The course held up well despite heavy rain the week before. Telangana Today reports Vizag Dolphins plan to make East Point their home course and start golf clinics and a junior academy with IGPL support.
