A woman died after delivering a stillborn baby at a private hospital in Mancherial. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, with her family alleging medical negligence as the cause of death.
According to Telangana Today, a pregnant woman from Gudipet village passed away after giving birth to the stillborn by 2 am.
Her parents and several family members accused the doctors of showing negligence in handling the delivery, which they claim led to her death.
Doctors, however, stated that she developed epilepsy during delivery and had been counselled about the risks associated with her condition, as reported by Telangana Today.
The family members staged a sit-in in front of the hospital with the body, demanding justice.
This incident raises concerns about medical services and patient safety in Mancherial district of Telangana, which is significant for residents in the region.
