Tokala Aditya, 23, from Madhapur village in Nirmal district, has died in Turkey. He went there for work about five months ago. He was injured recently in an accident while working at a building under construction.
His family said he died on Tuesday after a week of treatment in hospital. Full details of the accident are not yet known.
Efforts to bring him home
Aditya is survived by his parents and a brother. Efforts are under way to bring his body back to his village.
BJP floor leader A. Maheshwar Reddy is coordinating with officials on the repatriation. There has been no official statement from the government yet.
