Vizianagaram has seen development across all sectors under the YSR Congress Party's tenure, stated YSRCP mayoral candidate Kolagatla Sravani. On Monday, she campaigned extensively in wards 7, 29, and 36 of the city for the local body elections.
During her campaign, she visited homes with YSRCP corporator candidates, asking residents to vote for the 'fan' symbol and ensure their victory. Sravani affirmed the YSRCP government's dedication to the city's progress.
Sravani recalled that during the previous YSRCP government, under the leadership of former Deputy Speaker Kolagatla Veerabhadraswamy, development and welfare programs were implemented in the city. She noted that crores of rupees were allocated for Vizianagaram's beautification.
She further explained that road widening and urban beautification projects, which were long-standing issues for the city, were completed quickly with an investment of crores of rupees. These initiatives have benefited the city's residents.
