Andhra Pradesh is poised to revolutionize its tourism sector with technology. According to Tourism Minister K Durgesh, the state will introduce AI-powered services at over 100 major tourist and pilgrimage destinations.

These new services are designed to enhance the visitor experience. The minister made this announcement at the Tourism Innovation Summit-2026 in Seville, Spain, on Wednesday, as reported by Deccan Chronicle.

The state government has partnered with Explurger to implement NiVU AI (Neural Intelligence Vernacular Unified Model). This technology will enable visitors to access information about tourist attractions in more than 130 languages.

Visitors can utilize these services by scanning an “ASK AI” QR code. According to Deccan Chronicle, there will be no requirement for a separate app download or any payment.

This technological advancement positions Andhra Pradesh as a leader in the tourism industry. The minister told global tourism stakeholders, “We will certainly surprise you,” as per Deccan Chronicle.

This initiative will significantly benefit tourists in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It will streamline the tourism experience and provide a more informed journey, thereby boosting tourism in the region.
