BRS working president KT Rama Rao took aim at the BJP's central leadership on X on Thursday. He asked why the Centre has taken no action, though Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have repeatedly accused CM Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi of looting crores during their Hyderabad visits.
What KTR said
- He alleged an "RR tax" of ₹200 per square foot is collected in Hyderabad and said builders and developers would confirm it.
- Calling it "Only Big Talk. No Action", he alleged an understanding between the BJP and the Congress.
Wednesday's exchange
On Wednesday at Telangana Bhavan, as Congress leader Damodar Reddy joined the BRS, KTR said Telangana would never get justice from Delhi-based parties. Union Minister Bandi Sanjay hit back on X, calling KTR a "management quota politician" and saying he earned his own place through years of struggle.
Neither the Congress nor the BJP had responded to Thursday's allegation, and KTR did not publish evidence for it. Separately, the state Cabinet met at the Secretariat at 4 PM on Thursday with CM Revanth Reddy in the chair.
