Users can manage notifications from various websites by making adjustments within their browser settings. This process allows them to prevent unwanted alerts and ensure they receive only the information they deem necessary.
To begin receiving timely alerts, users should locate and click on the lock icon next to the address bar. Following this, they can proceed to unblock notifications for the site.
To access the browser's settings page, users need to click on the 'Options' menu. From there, they should select the 'Privacy & Security' choices found on the left side of the page.
Further down the page, within the 'Permission' section, users will find the 'Settings' tab for the Notification option. Clicking this tab will open a new window.
A pop-up window will display a list of all sites. To permit notifications, users must select the 'ALLOW' option for the specific site under the status heading.
Once all desired changes have been made, users must click on the 'Save Changes' option to ensure the modifications are applied and stored effectively.
