Swiggy, an on-demand convenience platform, has launched a new multi-restaurant ordering feature on its app. This allows users to combine dishes from up to five different restaurants in a single order.
The new feature eliminates the need for users to manage separate carts and checkouts when ordering from multiple restaurants. Customers can now order starters, main courses, and desserts from various eateries in one transaction.
Each restaurant will prepare and deliver its order independently. Users can track all their combined orders through a shared screen within the app.
Individual orders appear as separate tabs on the shared tracking screen. This provides a consolidated view for users to monitor all their deliveries in one place.
